The Tory Burch Embrace Ambition Summit 2022 was not only another noteworthy event for Solanoexp, but was also a hub for ambitious women from all walks of life who seek success by being bold to embrace who they are. At the helm of the event was Tory Burch, the Founder of the Tory Burch fashion brand and the Tory Burch Foundation.
Who is Tory Burch? Tory Burch is a fashion designer, business owner and philanthropist who is a native of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Valley Forge in a farmhouse, Tory would go on to study at University of Pennsylvania and graduate with an art history degree in 1988. After graduating she would seed the roots of her entrepreneurship journey in New York City.
In New York City, Tory worked for many fashion businesses, starting by working with Yugoslavian fashion designer, Zoran and then move on to work for Harpers Bizarre, Vera Wang, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Loewe. After getting a taste of the fashion business, she would start her own fashion line, TRB by Tory Burch, in 2004. The business would grow exponentially throughout the years globally.
From the seeds of growing a successful business, Tory was able to move on to other ventures and create the Tory Burch Foundation, an organization which provides financial support to American women, through small business loans, mentoring and entrepreneurial education.
The Embrace Ambition Summit launched in 2017, has become one of the most empowering gatherings of diverse women from all walks of life. This event highlights successful women from many different backgrounds, fields, cultures, social demographics, genders, and LGBTQ+. Some of whom have exceled in athletics, business, science, entrepreneurship, entertainment, the arts, engineering, and many more fields that shine light on how powerful women can be, and what they can achieve in life by not being afraid to embrace who they are and what they can do, no matter what the rules of society or the barriers of the world try to do to deny a woman’s dream.
It takes courage, and lots of ambition to climb the many mountains of life. The Embrace Ambition Summit is a beacon of hope for many women who want to shine in their fields and become successful role models for their children, families, and other women from around the world.

The Tory Burch team and its chemistry was inspiring to see, an eye opener for a room full of strangers, with similar aspirations, whose lives run parallel, that by making the right connections with the right people, you too can build a foundation and manifest your dreams into a reality.
